What does the job look like?
Step into a key role at Linfox as a Lead Auditor on a 12-month max term contract, based at Erskine Park Monday to Friday, where you'll help shape safe and compliant operations across our national Retail network. Covering NSW, QLD, SA, and VIC, you’ll take ownership of auditing subcontractors against NHVL, COR, and Fair Work requirements, working closely with site leaders to embed real improvements. It’s a hands-on, high-impact role with visibility across the business. Key areas:
- Lead subcontractor and remuneration audits across high-value Retail contracts
- Ensure full compliance to NHVL, COR, Fair Work and ATO requirements
- Track and close out audit findings to maintain a strong safety culture
- Partner with site leaders and the safety team to embed audit insights into daily operations
- Deliver high-quality reports that inform senior decisions
- Run pre-audit sessions to coach subcontractors on their compliance obligations
Are you the one?
You bring strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to improving safety and compliance systems. You are confident, credible, and able to influence effectively across all levels, from subcontractors to senior leaders. You can demonstrate:
- Proven experience in auditing, with a strong understanding of transport safety and compliance
- Solid grasp of NHVL, COR and remuneration standards in the logistics space
- BSBAUD501/503/504 or equivalent qualification
- Certificate IV in WHS (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to manage complex audit programs and influence outcomes
- Strong communication skills to build trust and accountability
