What does the job look like?

BevChain’s business unit currently has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and highly efficient AM Shift Manager to join their team, located in Kemps Creek, NSW. As part of this role, you will be responsible for leading the daily warehouse operations, managing safety, performance, and resource planning for our fantastic warehouse team. This role reports to the Operations Manager and is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 5:00am, with additional hours subject to business needs.

This position is integral in delivering safe, timely, and cost-effective operations in line with customer expectations and BevChain’s values. Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a safe and compliant working environment for all team members.
• Oversee the full spectrum of warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, wrapping, replenishment, and loading.
• Effectively schedule and roster warehouse resources to maximise productivity and meet client KPIs.
• Drive strong communication across shifts and departments, including transport carriers and customer representatives.
• Lead and supervise warehouse teams, including agency staff, ensuring shift targets are met.
• Engage in proactive performance management and team development.
• Assist the Warehouse Manager in identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
• Monitor performance metrics and escalate issues or service failures using reporting tools like Task Manager.

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role, ideally within FMCG or a high-volume logistics environment.

• Strong knowledge of WHS, Chain of Responsibility, and compliance frameworks.
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) with a collaborative leadership style.
• Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate to advanced computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new systems.
• A proactive mindset and drive for continuous improvement and team performance.
