What does the job look like?
Based at our Lyndhurst site, you’ll be working on a rotating 4 days on 4 days off AM roster (4:00am – 4:00pm), supporting our Woolworths team. This role oversees daily transport operations, including allocation, route planning, dispatching and customer communication. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and timely deliveries. Key areas:
- Allocating the appropriate Linfox and subcontractor fleet to complete deliveries
- Coordinating trailer allocation and monitoring trailer sizes and heights
- Monitoring driver fatigue management – including declaration and run sheet checks
- Completing daily reporting, data entry, and admin tasks
- Supporting effective load planning and delivery sequencing using systems such as JDA, FoxTrax and SWIFT
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

- Experience in transport operations, load planning or fleet allocation
- Strong geographical knowledge of Melbourne metro and surrounding areas
- Calm and effective decision-making under pressure
- Confidence using TMS and Microsoft Office tools
