What does the job look like?

Linfox Intermodal has a unique opportunity for a commercially minded Key Account Coordinator to join our team and help shape the way we partner with our customers across Road and Rail operations along the East-West corridor. This opportunity is suitable to someone who enjoys working with customers, digging into data and turning operational insights into meaningful outcomes. Working across a diverse customer portfolio, you'll gain exposure to both the commercial and operational sides of the business, partner with key stakeholders to strengthen customer relationships and improve service performance whilst identifying opportunities for growth
 
This is a full-time permanent opportunity based either in Kewdale, Western Australia or Regency Park, South Australia, with a working schedule of Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm. Key areas:
  • Build strong customer relationships and act as a key contact for account support, service delivery and performance
  • Prepare customer review packs, QBRs, commercial proposals, reports and business presentations
  • Analyse operational and commercial data to identify trends, risks, improvement opportunities and areas for account growth
  • Provide clear performance insights and reporting to support customer and business decision-making
  • Partner with Operations, Commercial and support teams to coordinate customer requirements and deliver service commitments
  • Support debtor management and working capital activities across the customer portfolio
Are you the one?
 
We're looking for someone who can combine strong customer relationship skills with commercial curiosity and an analytical mindset. You may come from transport operations, customer service, account coordination or an account management environment and be ready to broaden your commercial exposure. You can demonstrate:
  • Experience supporting customer accounts and customer review meetings, ideally within the transport/logistics industry
  • Confidence preparing reports, presentations and performance updates for customers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to turn data into practical insights and actions
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with exposure to Power BI, SAP or similar business systems highly regarded
  • An understanding of commercial drivers, customer relationships and account management principles
  • A proactive, organised and self-motivated approach, with a genuine focus on customer outcomes and continuous improvement
