What does the job look like?
Are you a results-driven leader with a strategic mindset and a passion for operational excellence? As a National Business Manager at Linfox, you will oversee key client contracts, optimize financial performance, and lead high-impact initiatives in contract distribution and local transport operations. This pivotal role requires exceptional financial acumen, strong negotiation capabilities, and expertise in managing a large company owned fleet, sub-contractor network and ideally experience with, high-performance vehicles and PBS.
Key areas:
- Lead contract distribution and local transport operations to meet service excellence standards.
- Drive financial performance through comprehensive budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
- Cultivate strong client relationships through effective negotiation and strategic account management.
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility legislation
- Implement best practices to drive fleet optimization optimize and identify opportunities to introduce high-performance vehicles
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

You can demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualification in business management, logistics, or a related discipline (desirable).
- Proven experience in contract distribution and local transport management.
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated success in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Advanced negotiation skills and experience managing key client relationships.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and compliance frameworks.
