What does the job look like?

As a Shift Supervisor at Linfox, you’ll oversee warehouse operations, resolve issues strategically, and maintain strong communication across all teams. Based on our Laverton North site, this role is integral to ensuring productivity, safety, and exceptional service delivery. Key areas:

  • Manage shift operations, ensuring timely order picking, packing, and despatch.

  • Oversee workforce allocation to meet volume demands while maintaining cost control.

  • Promote a safe work environment by identifying risks and managing compliance.

  • Lead and train staff to ensure operational excellence and maintain accurate records.

  • Resolve issues efficiently, maintaining a level-headed approach to achieve outcomes.

  • Foster strong working relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Are you the one?

You are a proactive, strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and a strong operational background. You can manage multiple tasks under pressure and maintain a calm and a solution-focused mindset. You can demonstrate:

  • Experience in warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, and despatch.

  • An understanding in transport operations and regulations.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively lead and resolve issues.

  • Intermediate computer literacy and proficiency with warehouse management systems.

  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.

  • Experience managing and training staff to meet operational targets.

  • A proactive problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement and safety.
