What does the job look like?

As a Senior Operations Manager at Linfox, you will oversee site and warehouse operations, drive financial performance, and ensure the successful delivery of client contracts at within a chilled and frozen environment. This role requires a proven track record in managing large-scale operations, complex and diverse freight requirements. leading high-performance teams and fostering exceptional client relationships. Key areas:

· Lead and manage site & warehouse operations, exceeding financial and operational KPIs.

· Oversee business continuity, ensuring adherence to safety, compliance, and client standards.

· Strategically manage budget performance, cost control, and financial reporting.

· Develop and inspire a high-performing team, promoting operational excellence.

· Drive business improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.

· Build and maintain strong client relationships, negotiating service agreements and resolving issues.

We are seeking a commercially astute leader with extensive experience in contract management, financial oversight, and operational strategy. If you excel in influencing stakeholders and thrive in a dynamic, multi-faceted environment, we want to hear from you.

You can demonstrate:

· 5+ years’ experience managing multiple contracts and 24/7 operations.

· Strong financial acumen with demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.

· Proven experience leading unionized workforces and resolving disputes effectively.

· Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to drive customer satisfaction and service excellence.

· Experience in supply chain management, including logistics, warehousing, and distribution.

· Strategic thinker with the ability to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement
