What does the job look like?
Linfox Intermodal are looking for an experienced and dedicated Pallet Coordinator based in Acacia Ridge QLD. This role plays an integral part of our Queensland Intermodal Operation and ensures effective day-to-day management of our Intermodal Pallet account and related activity. We currently have a permanent position available working Monday to Friday during business hours. Key Areas:
- Optimise pallet control accuracy and traceability to reduce pallet hire costs and eliminate pallet losses.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work with the relevant parties and to implement.
- Investigate all pallet claims and review all docket discrepancies.
- Hold team to account on processing of pallets - KPIs
- Ensure that all Linfox policies & procedures are complied with
- Work closely with Fit to Pay Team to find solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to the operation and administration teams to ensure compliance is maintained.
Are you the one?
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ management experience in a similar role and 5-7 years working in a Pallets role or Logistics subcontractor finance ops management environment.
- Experience with 2IC, SAP or similar system
- Strong literacy on Microsoft Word and Excel and reporting
- Experience in managing people and getting the best out of a team
