You’ll play a key role in building on the strong foundations already in place—driving continuous improvement, strengthening supplier partnerships, and ensuring alignment with our Ethical Code of Conduct and Modern Slavery obligations across the Peter Alexander brand.

Working closely with our Head of Production, you'll build strategic supplier partnerships that balance ethical responsibility with strong commercial outcomes.

  • Manage factory onboarding audits and maintain EiQ data and reporting

External Relationships & Certifications

  • Collaborate with licensors on Ethical Sourcing and Sustainability requirements
  • Manage Better Cotton, FSC, and other certification relationships
  • Trace Tier 2 & 3 suppliers and implement the Living Wage strategy
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders like Oxfam, BWA, and APSCA

Reporting & Administration

  • Oversee completion of the Modern Slavery statement, APCO report, and ASRS reporting

Sustainability

  • Approve sustainability claims for product ranges and manage Better Cotton and organic cotton certifications
  • Partner with marketing and legal teams on sustainability initiatives

Training & Engagement

  • Deliver ongoing Ethical Sourcing and Modern Slavery training and support to internal teams and suppliers

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in Ethical Sourcing, Sustainability, or ESG-related roles, ideally within a complex, fast-paced environment

  • Proven experience managing supplier relationships across Asia, with cultural awareness and the ability to navigate regional nuances effectively
  • Track record of successful collaboration with NGOs, including involvement in sustainability or human rights-focused campaigns
  • Experience working with global licensors and responding to their Ethical Sourcing and Sustainability requirements is highly desirable
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Rights, Law, Sustainability, Environmental Science, International Relations, or Social Sciences preferred; equivalent practical experience in the Ethical Sourcing and Sustainability field will also be considered
