As a Field Visual Merchandiser you will be able to translate our brand vision into creative merchandising strategies, leading and driving the VM direction of the PETER ALEXANDER brand in multiple stores across the ACT.

This is a Part Time role of 4 days per week and will require availablity Monday to Thursday.

Stores include, but are not limited to:
Canberra, Woden, Belconnen and Canberra Factory Outlet as well as monthly visits to Wagga Wagga and Albury.

In addition to the technical components of the role, you will also collaborate for success with the NSW&ACT state leadership team to ensure we provide a visual experience that excites and engages our customers; as well as coach and mentor store teams in regards to visual merchandising standards and direction. 

This is a largely autonomous, field-based role where you will be responsible for managing your own time and priorities across multiple locations. As you will be based primarily in Canberra and reporting remotely to the Senior Visual Merchandiser in NSW, strong self-motivation, independence, and the ability to communicate effectively across distance are essential for success.

Reporting to the Senior Visual Merchandiser for PETER ALEXANDER you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring creative direction is aligned with product and marketing direction across your region of stores in the ACT. 
• Develop and maintain relationships within a small team and key stakeholders to achieve innovative creative outcomes
• Leading, coaching, influencing and mentoring management and staff to achieve your high merchandising standards

To be considered successful you will have proven management experience, be commercially aware and have the ability to lead and develop a team to success. Multi-site management and previous VM experience is highly desirable.

Strong people leadership skills and a passion to help drive the business forward are essential.

The ability to utilise your exceptional people skills and build strong working relationships with people on all levels whilst applying your impeccable time management and organisational skills is key to the success of this role.
