About the Role
We are seeking an International Supply Chain Coordinator to support our fast paced Supply Chain team on a 12-month fixed term basis!
Reporting to the International Supply Chain Manager this diverse role will be responsible for the shipment and receipt of overseas orders from China into multiple global Distribution Centres.
Responsibilities
- Working with freight forwarders regarding weekly supplier bookings, vessel departures and sailing cut-offs
- Co-ordinate imports across brands ensuring on-time hand over, on-time shipment and on-time delivery
- Assist brands with import shipment tracking queries and drive improvements regarding external tracking systems
- Co-ordinate and prioritise deliveries into DC with the various Buying, Planning and DC teams, notifying them of any revisions to the schedule
- Data entry and costing approval process in AS400
- Validate all freight invoices and import documentation, and liaise with Finance to ensure payments are processed efficiently
- Review and validate the wharf cartage invoices for containers arriving into Australia
- Assist with ad-hoc requests such as RTA shipments and re-directions from Destination DC back to Supplier
Skills & Experience
- Experience working in Supply Chain - within the retail environment is highly desirable
- Analytical mindset and high demonstrated ability using Microsoft suite (namely Excel)
- Ability to demonstrate a customer focus with the ability to support multiple stakeholders
- Highly organised and accurate management of high-volume data entry work processes
- Sound knowledge of customs legal requirements for import of goods
- Strong organisational and statutory compliance skills
- Knowledge of shipment tracking tools and reporting
