In this role you will be instrumental in shaping and managing supplier contracts and their associated statements of work, with your commercial acumen and attention to detail driving successful outcomes. Your contribution will be key to navigating complex commercial engagements that support the delivery of the Flight Information Management System.
As we launch a new line of business, this role will be central to shaping how we engage with customers and deliver value through innovative services. In addition to managing supplier relationships, you’ll lead the development of commercial frameworks. This includes driving the commercialisation of our offerings, implementing new charging models, and ensuring strong contract management that supports our evolving business strategy.

The Person
We’re looking for someone who puts everything into whatever they do, who takes accountability and wants to take the next step in their career.
You are known for your exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, and have a proven track record in driving contract and commercial success in emerging technology or aviation sectors, we want to hear from you.
Your days will be filled with variety as you work with and across the Uncrewed Services Integration leadership team, the Flight Information Management System and UAS Services Supplier project teams, Airservices Shared Services – Commercial and Procurement, the Legal team and UAS Services Suppliers (customers) so your communication skills will be key to your success.
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following skills and competencies:
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale contracts.
Experience in in developing commercialisation strategies, frameworks and revenue options to take new services to market.
• Demonstrated expertise in customer-facing roles, with a strong ability to navigate and manage complex commercial considerations
• Extensive experience in strategic contract management across multiple contracts or large programs.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering acceptable commercial outcomes in dispute management and resolution.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering savings initiatives, including year-on-year savings opportunities, benchmarking, de-scoping, demand management, supplier segmentation, and terminations.
• Demonstrated experience in ongoing management of contractor performance.
• Demonstrated experience in working with multiple business functions to ensure ongoing commercial management of executed contracts.
• Strong commercial acumen and familiarity with financial data
• Desirable: experience in new/nascent markets and working with technology markets.
