The Role & Team
Are you an experienced administrator seeking variety and purpose in your role? Join a national organisation that helps keep Australia’s skies safe—supporting the teams behind air traffic control and aviation rescue firefighting.
You’ll provide high-level administrative support to operational leaders, coordinate tactical rosters, bookings, and travel, and help maintain service continuity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Become part of a connected team of nine Service Support Officers nationally to deliver consistent, high-quality coordination and truly make an impact.
We are offering 2 x permanent positions based in Brisbane and Melbourne and will require a 5 day per week onsite work arrangement.
What you’ll do
- Provide administrative support to the Leadership (Head and Service Lead) positions across multiple operational services working as part of a cohesive Service Support team
- Responding and distribution of email correspondence, management of multiple inboxes,
- Partner with workforce planning and manage tactical rosters and coordinate training bookings, workshops and travel logistics
- Own the coordination of meetings, diaries, inboxes, and credit card reconciliations
- Draft internal documentation and support project teams
- Support the upskilling of purchasing systems, recruitment support, and compliance systems like SAP, iBuy, PageUp and SuccessFactors

About you
- Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Proven experience supporting senior leaders in a busy and complex operational environment
- Rostering experience is a plus, but not essential if you're adaptable, quick-thinking, and able to resolve roster gaps to keep operations running smoothly
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a collaborative working style
- Demonstrated initiative to continually improve administrative processes relevant to the role is essential.
- Strong understanding of compliance and governance in a confidential setting
Experience in SAP, Quintiq, SuccessFactors or PageUp is highly desirable, but not essential if you’re a fast learner with the right mindset.
