The Role & The Team
Reporting into our Head of Workforce Strategy, and joining our People & Culture Team, this is a true Culture and Engagement Lead position with genuine backing from our Executive Leadership Team.
Airservices Australia have been on a transformation journey to uplift our culture and employee engagement. With key targets in sight, we are looking for an experienced Culture and Engagement Lead to design, implement and monitor a range of initiatives. In addition, this role will see you deliver the following:
- Lead the development of culture and employee experience programs and initiatives.
- Provide specialist knowledge and best-practice research and evidence to drive initiatives.
- Manage the development, implementation and evaluation of the Culture Improvement Program plan and related employee experience initiatives across the employee lifecycle.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with key stakeholders change initiatives.
- Support the development, management & implementation of employee listening strategies.
- Measure and interpret data on effectiveness of initiatives
- Manage, maintain and provide strategic advice into the future direction of the Employee Network Groups, including Culture Champions.
- Contribute to the development of learning and development programs in support of cultural and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) objectives.
- Support the day-to-day running of the Culture Reform Board including preparing materials, agenda and working with them directly on key initiatives.
- Develop content and collateral required to drive successful implementation
- Provide leadership and expert advice, coaching and guidance on culture and engagement to senior leaders, People and Culture colleagues, people leaders, and other stakeholders.

The Person
As a people, culture and diversity enthusiast who demonstrates an innovative approach to cultural strategies, you will bring a wealth of knowledge when it comes to creating and delivering employee focussed initiatives. In addition, you will possess the following.
- Consulting experience and/or tertiary qualifications in human resources, organisational psychology, or related discipline
- Prior experience leading successful cultural transformation programs
- Understands behavioural change and science with evidence of practical application in cultural transformation program design
- Ability to manager and deliver effective employee listening strategies including delivery and analysis of people surveys
- Understands current and emerging DEI issues and trends, best practice approaches and opportunities, particularly in the development of Reconciliation Action Plans and Gender Equality strategies
- Ability to use data to share insights and inform initiative design
- Ability to work cross-functionally with demonstrated experience navigating complex work environments
- Project and change management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication with a collaborative working style.
