The Role & The Team

Reporting to the Sydney Aerodrome and Airspace Services Head, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating major change programs across the Sydney Basin, including Western Sydney International Airport, OneSKY, and Eastern Creek relocation. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on ensuring synergy across complex projects, driving operational readiness, and fostering stakeholder collaboration. This is a unique opportunity to join Airservices Australia on a 2-year fixed term contract.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead integration and change readiness across Sydney operations.

- Manage cross-program schedules, risks, and communications.

- Act as a key interface between operational teams and change programs.

- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including government, regulators, airlines, and community groups.

The Person

As this role is key to the success of delivery of our projects, you will be a strategic, collaborative, and results-driven leader with a strong background in program integration and stakeholder engagement across complex operational environments.  You will bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership capability, and interpersonal finesse to drive change and ensure seamless coordination across major aviation projects.

Additionally, you will possess the below:

- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in program management.

- Prior experience implementing and managing projects, including change management.

- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.

- Ability to obtain an NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance.

Security Clearance
