The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our Faculty of Education’s Development and External Relations team. This pivotal role is designed to support and enhance our business development efforts by identifying, developing, and expanding new fee-for-service opportunities.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in engaging with clients and developing strong relationships to position our Faculty as a leader in education-related research, training, and consulting services. You will proactively track, identify, and secure fee-for-service opportunities, leading the preparation and submission of tenders and proposals as well as costing and pricing of opportunities in consultation with the Faculty’s Finance Team. Effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders is essential to ensure the smooth implementation and finalisation of successful projects and tenders. Additionally, you will develop, maintain, and support the Faculty’s client base, providing expert advice on our Development and External Relations strategy.

About you

We are looking for someone with proven experience in business development, preferably within the education sector. Strong client engagement and relationship management skills are essential, along with a demonstrated ability to track, identify, and secure business opportunities. Experience in preparing and submitting tenders and proposals is required, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
