The Opportunity

Join the Student Academic Success team as a Learning Adviser.

The role of the Learning Adviser is to provide learning and educational advice and design expertise to the Student Academic Success team to design and deliver engaging resources and learning opportunities for students.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for coordinating, project managing and co-developing learning resources which revitalise student learning and engagement with student learning platforms and CRMs, from start through to completion, within requirements of scope, time, and budget. This includes end to end management of SAS learning resources. Additionally, you will provide specialist advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders and support the design and creation of virtual learning materials, including e-publications, videos, photos, interactive materials, written and graphic elements for use in University learning and content management systems.

The position works closely with the Learning Adviser Leads to develop high quality and responsive learning materials and programs to support students' learning skills, course performance, progress and completion. The Learning Adviser works responsively with students to support their learning and reach out to students who need support.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a relevant degree with extensive experience and expertise in educational/instructional design and educational technologies; or extensive experience and management expertise in the education design field; or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
