The Opportunity
The School of Chemistry is looking for a Post Doctoral Research Fellow to join in an exciting project Parameterisation of voltammetry in a machine learning environment. The project involves working with a multidisciplinary research team, with strong interactions with other Australian and Overseas research groups and institutions.
The Research Fellow will focus on the development of highly advanced and sophisticated dynamic electrochemistry techniques and application of these techniques to molecules of biological and chemical significance. Responsibilities of the research fellow will include the setup and maintenance of laboratory equipment and other duties assigned by the leaders of the project.
To be successful in the position, you will need to demonstrate analytical and manuscript preparation skills, have the ability to solve complex problems and have a demonstrated awareness of principles of confidentiality, privacy and information handling. The successful candidate will also demonstrate expertise in quantitative studies of reaction mechanisms using voltammetry and strong expertise in physical electrochemistry and machine learning.
