The Opportunity

Join our dynamic Business Partnering team and work closely with senior stakeholders, including the University's Senior Management Team, Faculty General Managers, and Executive Directors, to develop and deliver people strategies for a defined portfolio.

In this leadership role, you'll guide a team of HR professionals and drive key initiatives across recruitment, talent development, workforce planning, leadership development, performance management, and organisational change. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality HR services that support the achievement of organisational priorities.

The successful candidate will lead, direct and champion major strategic change initiatives and reviews of policy, procedure and practice and ensure successful delivery and uptake in the relevant client portfolios. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing expert strategic and operational advice, aligning business and people objectives and delivering strategic and tactical solutions to address people-related matters.

About You

To be considered your background will include:

  • Extensive experience at a Senior Management level, along with relevant qualifications
  • A strong background in delivering exceptional, client-focused HR services
  • A proven ability to achieve successful people outcomes within a matrix or large, complex management structure
  • Demonstrated experience in staff management, with a focus on motivating and developing team members
