The Opportunity
Drive impactful research at the intersection of data science and critical care.
The Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Research Centre (ANZIC-RC) at Monash University is seeking a leading researcher to advance a program in Applied Clinical Data Science, Machine Learning and AI. This role offers the chance to lead high-impact projects, mentor emerging researchers, and collaborate across disciplines to transform health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a recognised research program in applied clinical data science and AI
- Publish in leading journals and secure competitive funding
- Supervise staff and students, and mentor early-career researchers
- Build strategic collaborations with academic and industry partners
- Contribute to research policy, governance, and leadership initiatives
Key Selection Criteria:
- PhD in a relevant field with a strong research track record
- National profile with potential for international leadership
- Demonstrated success in publishing and attracting research funding
- Experience managing research teams and large-scale projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and interdisciplinary research
