The Opportunity

Join a dynamic team at the forefront of healthcare innovation as a Research Fellow in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Monash Nursing and Midwifery is seeking a dedicated and motivated Research Fellow to support the Professoriate in advancing high-quality nursing and midwifery research. In this role, you will work closely with leading academics on a range of new and ongoing research projects. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of emerging research excellence in nursing and midwifery, while supporting Professor Pollock in key research initiatives. Key responsibilities include contributing to ethics applications, conducting literature reviews, assisting with participant recruitment, and engaging in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, and preparing manuscripts for publication, reports and presentations. The successful candidate will play a central role in a range of research activities that support the broader goals of Monash Nursing and Midwifery.

The Research Fellow will work under the direction of Professor Pollock in the conceptualisation and implementation of research initiatives, playing a vital role in shaping ongoing research activities. In addition to conducting research, the appointee will contribute to the development of research funding proposals and provide guidance to junior research staff. The position offers an exciting opportunity to further develop a strong research profile in nursing and midwifery, supported by an established and collaborative academic environment.
