The Opportunity

Join a dynamic team at Monash University as a Senior Purchasing Services Officer, where you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality administrative and customer service support to ensure the effective operation of the Purchasing Services Team. 

This position will be responsible for providing timely and tailored advice and support to staff, clients, and external stakeholders, ensuring the highest standard of communication and service delivery. You’ll perform a variety of purchasing-related administrative tasks such as processing requisitions for order and transactions, managing corporate card activities, asset stocktakes, and maintaining records for audit and taxation compliance. You will also contribute to system enhancements and service excellence initiatives relating to service practices, quality assurance and customer service excellence.

To be successful in this role you will have strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to managing competing priorities. Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and attention to detail are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using integrated financial systems. Your ability to identify issues, offer solutions, and maintain professional service delivery will make you a valued member of the team.
