The Opportunity
The Deputy Dean, Partnerships and Engagement is responsible for leading the Faculty of Education’s strategic engagement agenda to enhance its academic, research, and commercial impact. This senior leadership role drives the development and integration of high-value partnerships, fostering collaborative initiatives that strengthen the Faculty’s national and global presence across the education sector.
The role provides high-level leadership in driving and managing a dynamic portfolio of strategic engagement and partnership initiatives across the Faculty of Education. You will lead the design and execution of national and international partnership strategies, negotiate institutional agreements, and champion cross-sector collaborations. You will also represent the Faculty in key forums, support research commercialisation, and contribute to executive decision-making processes to advance the Faculty’s strategic goals.
As the successful candidate, you will bring a distinguished record of academic achievement and leadership, with demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering transformative engagement strategies within complex institutional settings. You possess a deep understanding of innovative educational practices and a proven ability to build high-impact, cross-sector partnerships. Your experience includes negotiating strategic agreements, securing research funding, and translating research into meaningful educational and commercial outcomes on both national and international scales.
