The Opportunity
Reporting to the Associate Professor, the focus of this role will be to manage the co-design and execution of the Faculty’s Indigenous Plan, ensuring it aligns with university-wide Indigenous strategies, discipline, national and international frameworks.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for collaboration with Indigenous academics, professional staff, and external stakeholders. The position will engage with the Faculty’s Education and Research Themes to inform them of the Faculty’s Indigenous Plan’s objectives, timelines, milestones, and evaluation metrics, and will support their integration into Faculty operations, curriculum, research priorities, and student outreach initiatives through the application of change management principles.
The appointee will have:
- A postgraduate qualification in education, science, project management or another relevant discipline and extensive project management experience; or
- extensive management experience and proven management expertise; or
- an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
