The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive Administrative Officer to join the Peninsula Clinical School – part of Monash University’s renowned School of Translational Medicine (STM) – and play a vital role supporting the next generation of medical professionals.
In this diverse and rewarding position, you will coordinate the delivery of Monash’s Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD) program across the Peninsula Health Campus. Working closely with teaching staff, students and clinical supervisors, you will ensure that curriculum delivery, placements and academic activities run smoothly and to the highest standards.
You will be the go-to contact for staff and students, providing expert advice, efficient coordination and exceptional service across all aspects of the student experience. Every day, your work will directly contribute to shaping future doctors and improving health outcomes across our communities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating Year 3B, 4C and 5D teaching programs, including timetabling, placements and academic support
- Providing responsive administrative assistance to the Director of Academic Programs and teaching staff
- Supporting medical electives and Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSci) students
- Managing student enquiries and providing accurate guidance on curriculum and course processes
- Maintaining effective communication and collaboration across Monash and Peninsula Health teams

To be successful, you will have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated administrative experience in a complex or clinical education environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to set priorities, manage competing deadlines and deliver improvements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to liaise across academic, clinical and student groups
- Proven ability to work both collaboratively and independently with professionalism, discretion and attention to detail
