The Opportunity

We are seeking a Research Officer to support the operations of the Lupus+ Clinical Research Hub through the delivery of high-quality research services. This position contributes to the Australian Lupus Registry and the Australian Sjogren Cohort Study by coordinating research administration, scheduling and data entry to maintain smooth research workflows and meet project timelines.

A key focus of the role is supporting research projects involving patients attending Monash Rheumatology Clinics. The position ensures research activities comply with ethical and governance requirements and that project milestones are delivered to expected standards. With responsibilities spanning project management, data collection, reporting and communication, the role plays an important part in the effective functioning of the research hub.

The successful candidate will bring relevant tertiary qualifications and strong analytical, organisational and data analysis skills. The role requires the ability to apply appropriate technical methods, manage competing priorities and support research projects within agreed timeframes. An understanding of confidentiality and information handling principles is essential and familiarity with tools such as STATA and RedCap is highly desirable.

If you are looking to contribute to meaningful clinical research within a collaborative and supportive environment we encourage you to apply.
