The Opportunity
Join a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where you’ll lead a team tackling complex and unique IT challenges that directly support world-class research and education. As Senior Team Leader, you will lead and empower a group of skilled Technical Solutions Consultants to design and deliver innovative, secure, and practical solutions. The roles combines strong people leadership with deep technical insight and a strong customer focus.
This role offers the chance to shape how specialised IT services are delivered across the University, driving continuous improvement, influencing strategy, and strengthening partnerships across diverse stakeholder groups. You’ll play a key role in building capability, refining processes, and ensuring solutions are not only effective but scalable and sustainable.

Key Selection Criteria

Proven experience managing and coordinating IT services, functions or programs, including providing specialist advice

Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop teams, including workload planning and performance management

Experience delivering and overseeing small to mid-scale ICT solutions and building service delivery capability

Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including driving process improvement initiatives

Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship management skills across varied audiences

Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear guidance
