The Opportunity

The Senior Change Manager role is at the heart of the Student Management System Transformation Program, applying expertise to deliver advanced change, communication, and engagement strategies that directly affect the future of the University.

This is not just about managing change—it’s about maximizing adoption, driving engagement, and creating a culture of success. You’ll partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to manage the people-side of transformation, ensuring new processes and technologies are embraced seamlessly..

In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Craft compelling communication and training plans, empowering teams to thrive in the new environment.
  • Execute a powerful change strategy for the SMST program, guiding stakeholders through a critical phase ending December 2026.
  • Lead readiness assessments, impact analysis, and risk management, ensuring every change is planned and delivered with precision.
  • Build strong partnerships across business and technical teams, creating an ecosystem for effective, program-driven change.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Proven Change Management with experience managing large-scale, complex transformation programs using recognised frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).

  • Strategic Communication & Engagement with the exceptional ability to craft clear messaging, develop training plans, and drive stakeholder buy-in.

  • Influence with the ability to maintain a strong presence with senior executives and ability to build trust and alignment across diverse teams.

  • Analytical & Risk Management Skills such as in readiness assessments, impact analysis, and managing change risks, issues, and dependencies.

  • Innovative & Adaptive Mindset that embraces emerging practices, fosters continuous improvement, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
