The Opportunity
We are seeking a Lecturer (Education Focused) to contribute to the delivery of high-quality education within the Graduate Diploma in Psychology program. This role supports teaching innovation and educational leadership at Monash, with a strong focus on unit coordination, teaching and curriculum redevelopment to enhance engaging, evidence-informed learning experiences.
The position supports inclusive and student-centred learning environments across a range of teaching contexts. It contributes to contemporary teaching approaches, assessment design and consistent marking and feedback, while working collaboratively on unit development, coordination and administration. Scholarly activity and the use of student feedback to continuously improve educational practice are integral to the role.
The position requires qualifications and experience recognised by the University, including a doctoral qualification or equivalent research and teaching experience. Strong capability in tertiary teaching, curriculum development, assessment and feedback is essential, along with knowledge of higher education environments, industry expectations and employability outcomes and the ability to contribute to team leadership and scholarly activity.
