The Opportunity

The Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences are looking for passionate healthcare professionals to help support pharmacists to conduct patient consultations and manage acute and chronic primary care conditions.

You will be asked to help facilitate a series of case-based role play style tutorials so that pharmacists are prepared to make safe person-centred prescribing decisions. Most tutorials are conducted after hours online (via Zoom) apart from a series of in-person tutorials focused on physical examination techniques.

You will also be asked to assist with assessments such as Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) to provide feedback on the pharmacist’s consultation and decision-making skills.

You will be able to select tutorials and assessment to assist with based on your availability and familiarity with the topic covered.

Candidates must either be currently registered with Ahpra as a healthcare professional with prescribing rights or have recency of experience in this role.
