The Opportunity
As the Senior Coordinator, Projects and Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of initiatives that enhance Access, Inclusion and Success (AIS) across the University. This position offers the opportunity to coordinate high-impact projects and communications, acting as a key liaison point between the project team, wider portfolio, university and internal and external client groups. In addition, you will manage all AIS communication, including digital channels.
In this role, you will apply your project management expertise, communication skills and sound judgement to support end-to-end project delivery, provide strategic advice, and ensure the effective execution of AIS’s strategic priorities. Working closely with the Senior Manager, Projects and Development, you will also prepare reports, documentation and updates, while managing complex administrative tasks to keep projects on track and aligned with organisational goals.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated expertise delivering and coordinating complex communications or marketing projects end-to-end, including planning, stakeholder engagement, monitoring progress, and driving outcomes within agreed timeframes and standards
- Highly-developed relationship management skills, with the ability to build strong, productive relationships across diverse groups
- Experience providing supervision and guidance to project team members, including coordinating work with external consultants and contractors to ensure excellence in project delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated capability in developing professional documentation, reports and digital communications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct research, evaluate options and provide sound recommendations
