The Opportunity
Monash University is seeking a Professional Education Officer to join the Teaching and Learning division within the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, part of the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.
Based at The Alfred campus, this role provides high quality administrative and operational support for the School’s professional education programs. You will contribute to the effective delivery of programs by implementing and managing administrative processes, supporting committees and projects, preparing reports including professional education viability reports, and providing timely advice and guidance to facilitators, staff and participants.
Reporting to the Director, Teaching and Learning, you will play an important role in ensuring service excellence, process integrity and continuous improvement across professional education activities.
About the Role
The Professional Education Officer supports the effective delivery of professional education programs within Teaching and Learning. The role is responsible for implementing and managing administrative processes, responding to enquiries, supporting governance and reporting requirements, undertaking data input and analysis, and providing timely advice to facilitators, staff and participants.
You will ensure high service standards, compliance with policy and privacy requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement activities while maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.
About You
You will hold a relevant tertiary qualification, or have substantial relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training.
You bring strong administrative and organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, sound analytical and problem solving capability, and well developed written and verbal communication skills. You demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and are confident working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
