The Opportunity
The Faculty of Information Technology is seeking a proactive and highly organised Department Officer to provide essential administrative support across its Departments. This is a key role which supports delivery of a range of core services across the Department including; support for planning and executing internal Department events, planning and contributing to Departmental meetings, and provision of day-to-day operational services such as purchasing of supplies and equipment maintenance.
As the Department Officer, you will play an important role in facilitating effective solutions for stakeholders with regards to; communication, resource, equipment and events. You will work closely with staff, students and other stakeholders across the Faculty to ensure effective communication, resource coordination and seamless delivery of services.
You will be a trusted point of contact for staff and students, providing sound advice, exercising strong judgement and helping to resolve operational issues with professionalism and care. Your ability to build relationships, anticipate needs and maintain high standards of service will be central to your success in this role.
