The Opportunity

Are you passionate about opening doors to higher education for Indigenous students?

At the William Cooper Institute, we proudly champion Indigenous education, support student success, and create culturally safe, inclusive environments where Indigenous students can thrive. We are now seeking a passionate leader to help guide and advance this work.

We are looking for a strong, student-focused leader to design and deliver culturally appropriate recruitment and outreach strategies that engage Indigenous students to study at Monash University. In this role, you will lead the university’s Indigenous student recruitment strategy, driving enrolment growth, engagement, and equitable access for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

To succeed, you will be a collaborative leader with strong communication and organisational skills, experienced in working respectfully with First Nations communities, and committed to cultural respect and meaningful outcomes.

Leading this team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of Indigenous education and achieving lasting impact for Indigenous communities.
