The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and highly organised Marketing Operations Manager to help shape and embed the systems, processes and governance that enable Marketing to operate as a high-performing function.
In this role, you will lead the design and continuous improvement of Marketing’s operational frameworks, ensuring campaigns, projects and business-as-usual activity are delivered with consistency, clarity and impact. You will oversee key operational processes including divisional reporting, workflow governance, risk, compliance, quality assurance, resource planning, vendor management and budget oversight.
Working closely with senior leaders, teams across Marketing and key University stakeholders, you will play an important role in strengthening how Marketing plans, prioritises, governs and delivers work. You will bring structure to complexity, identify opportunities for improvement and help embed scalable ways of working that support strategic priorities and operational excellence.
This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact by improving how Marketing operates, enabling teams to deliver high-quality outcomes more efficiently across the University.
About You
You are an experienced operations professional with strong capability in organisational effectiveness, governance, process improvement and business planning. You understand how to design practical systems and ways of working that help complex teams deliver with greater consistency, accountability and impact.
You are confident working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams and can influence, advise and bring people together around shared priorities. You are comfortable operating in a busy and evolving environment, balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery.
You bring experience in financial and resource management, procurement, vendor relationships and contract management. You also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate operational insights, risks and opportunities into clear advice, recommendations and executive-level documentation.
Highly organised and solutions-focused, you are confident using business systems, project management tools and digital collaboration platforms to improve visibility, workflow, governance and decision-making.
If you are ready to strengthen Marketing’s operating model and help build the systems, rhythms and governance that enable great work to happen, we would like to hear from you.
