The Opportunity
The Faculty of Science is looking for an experienced and highly capable Technical Specialist to lead and deliver high‑quality technical services that underpin the School’s teaching and research activities in electronics, instrumentation, and embedded systems. This is a pivotal role that ensures our laboratories, equipment, and technical infrastructure operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest professional standards.
In this role, you will apply your advanced theoretical and practical expertise to manage and deliver a diverse range of technical services. You will oversee and undertake complex activities across electrical and electronic design, instrumentation, data acquisition and control, computer interfacing, and embedded systems development. Your work will directly support program outcomes in electrical/electronic engineering, robotics, and related fields.
The successful candidate will be a highly skilled technical professional with deep expertise in electronics, instrumentation, embedded systems, and computer‑based control.
