The Opportunity

The Academic Performance team is looking for a Senior HR Adviser to play a key role in shaping the University’s academic promotion, probation, and outside study program processes.

In this dynamic role, you will develop deep subject matter expertise and use your knowledge to provide high-level advice and support. Your work will directly contribute to the success and progression of academic staff, ensuring they have the guidance and resources needed to excel. As a Senior HR Adviser, you will manage a small team, build strong relationships with stakeholders across the University, and provide expert advice and guidance to support and strengthen our academic workforce. Your contributions will play a vital role in helping the University achieve its goal of delivering world-class research and education outcomes.

About You

To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate a proven knowledge of HR practices, including probation and performance management. You will be a driver of strong positive relationships, with a demonstrated ability to form networks across an organisation to deliver positive outcomes. Your high level of attention to detail and accuracy when undertaking administrative duties will underpin your ability to efficiently and effectively support these critical processes.
