The Opportunity
We are seeking a Research Fellow - Data Science professional with strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning and high-frequency physiological signal analysis. This is a unique opportunity to work with pioneering bedside monitoring tools, such as ICM+ software, and support the delivery of major multi-centre clinical studies, including BONANZA-GT and PRECISION-TBI.
Working closely with the Acute Brain Injury leadership team, you’ll contribute to data curation, protocol development, predictive modelling, and novel analytics for large-scale neurocritical care datasets and manuscript preparation and publication.

As the Research Fellow - Data Scientist, you will:
- Develop and implement data management and analytics protocols for clinical trial datasets
- Apply deep learning and AI to time series neuromonitoring data
- Build and test predictive models using machine learning techniques
- Drive methodological innovation in neurophysiological data analysis
- Contribute to publications, grant submissions and independent research projects
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams to generate translational impact
About You
You bring a passion for solving complex data challenges in a clinical setting and thrive in an interdisciplinary, purpose-driven team. You have:
- A postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Data Science or related field
- Extensive experience working with large-scale, high-frequency (waveform) data
- Proficiency in analytics, AI, and modern data science tools
- Excellent problem-solving, project coordination and communication skills
- A PhD or equivalent research experience (preferred)
- Experience with clinical or physiological data (desirable)
