The Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences (the Faculty) is one of the most comprehensive health faculties globally, encompassing four sub-faculties, eleven schools and an extensive network of world-leading institutes and centres. The Opportunity

Reporting to the Provost and Senior Vice-President, the Executive Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences and Vice-President (Health), leads a Faculty of considerable scale and complexity, providing inspiring leadership, to advance educational excellence and elevate global research performance. The role plays a pivotal part in strengthening Monash’s positioning and global leadership in innovation, translation and impact. As a member of the Vice-Chancellor’s Executive Committee, it contributes to shaping the broader strategic trajectory of the University.

A key focus of the position will be championing international expansion, embracing emerging frontiers and identifying strategic opportunities through commercialisation, philanthropy and large-scale engagement with the biotechnology and venture capital sectors.
