The Opportunity

Join a leading research program advancing movement behaviour, precision prevention and population health. As Research Program Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across Professor Stamatakis’ research portfolio, including a BHF Programme, the NHMRC and Cancer Research UK-funded ProPASS consortium,  and BrainPark. Working with the research team and international collaborators, you will oversee program operations, budgets, projects, governance and partnerships, while supporting the strategic growth and impact of the program.

This is a dynamic role connecting research, strategy and collaboration. You will coordinate complex projects, grant application development, funded project execution, governance and data access processes, manage risks and resources,  higher degree research student recruitment,  and organise national and international meetings, workshops and conferences. You will also build relationships with researchers, clinicians, policymakers, funders, industry and community partners to support ongoing and emerging collaborations, research translation into policy and practice.

  The incumbent will also play an instrumental role in BrainPark’s growth as a leading international hub for movement behaviour research and precision prevention. We are seeking an experienced research professional with strong project and financial management skills, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities, and experience working in complex research environments. A relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience will support your success in this high-impact role.
