The MMG-KHOEMACAU COPPER MINING creates significant value to MMG by managing and coordinating the movement, storage, and distribution of goods and materials from contractual delivery point to Botswana. This role ensures the efficient and cost-effective operation of logistics processes while maintaining compliance with local regulations and company policies.
We are pleased to advise that we seek a Logistics Officer. Based in Beijing, China/Khoemacau Mine / Gaborone Office and reporting to Manager - Supply Chain Africa, the purpose of this job is to ensure timely delivery and optimal supply chain performance. The key focus and main activities are

To be considered, candidates must have
• Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English, with the ability to use Chinese and English as working language.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Key to success in this role is the ability to
• Comprehensive understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
• Knowledge of Botswana’s customs regulations, import/export procedures, and trade laws.
• Familiarity with transportation modes.
• Awareness of international trade practices and shipping documentation requirements.
• Understanding of cost control and budgeting in logistics operations.
