Merchandiser – Hawke’s Bay (Napier, Hastings & Havelock North)

Your Impact

As a Merchandiser, you’ll play a critical role in bringing our brands to life in-store across Hawke’s Bay. You’ll ensure our products are consistently available, perfectly presented, and executed to the highest standard across bottle shops and select grocery accounts.

This is a hands-on, autonomous role where you’ll own your territory, build strong in-store relationships, and deliver standout execution that drives visibility, sales, and brand experience.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure all products are available, stocked, and presented in line with store ranging and promotional requirements
• Execute in-store displays, relays, and planograms to a high standard
• Maintain fridges, chillers, and floor displays ensuring they are fully stocked, priced, and compliant
• Support promotional activity including product launches, campaigns, and weekly tastings
• Build strong relationships with store staff and key decision-makers
• Manage your own schedule and territory effectively to maximise time and coverage
• Ensure all point-of-sale material is visible, accurate, and aligned to campaigns
• Provide feedback from stores and resolve any in-store issues where required
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow all health and safety guidelines

About You

• Self-motivated and able to work independently without close supervision
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Customer-focused with a professional and personable approach
• Reliable, proactive, and takes ownership of their territory
• Experience in merchandising, retail, or liquor industry is highly regarded but not essential
• Open to learning and developing within a fast-paced FMCG environment
• Full driver’s licence required

Additional Details

• Part-time role – 32 hours per week
• Territory focused across Napier, Hastings, and Havelock North
• Primarily liquor channel with some grocery exposure
• Flexible working structure across the week
