YOUR IMPACT
Lead the Laverton Packaging operation to deliver products to market on time and in specification, while meeting safety, quality, environmental, efficiency and legal requirements. You will guide Packaging Team Leaders and the broader Packaging team, partnering closely with stakeholders across Planning, Beverages and other operational functions to achieve performance targets through Asahi Way. This is a hands-on leadership role where people, performance and continuous improvement come together to drive manufacturing outcomes. As the key leader for Packaging performance, you set the standard for culture, capability and operational delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all aspects of Packaging Team performance, creating alignment around operational goals and performance outcomes.
- Champion safety across the Packaging function, ensuring operational requirements are met while maintaining a strong safety culture.
- Develop team capability through the implementation of people and training processes and programs that strengthen performance and engagement.
- Deliver quality, efficiency and production targets, ensuring products reach the market on time and within specification.
- Drive the implementation and sustainability of Asahi Way, embedding continuous improvement and accountability across the operation.
ABOUT YOU
- You bring experience within brewing, beverage manufacturing or a comparable manufacturing environment.
- Tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering or a related discipline (or a level of experience to supersede this)
- Strong project or program management capability, including the use of MS Project.
- Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving to navigate operational challenges.
- Ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and cultures while building productive working relationships.
