Your Impact

As Commercial Manager - Route to Market, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how we serve customers and deliver value across our network. Working within the Route to Market transformation team, you will provide commercial insight, strategic analysis and data-driven modelling to inform key decisions across customer collaboration, One Delivery initiatives and future route-to-market strategies.

Reporting to the Commercial Lead - Route to Market, you'll help translate complex commercial challenges into clear recommendations, enabling smarter decisions that balance customer experience, cost-to-serve, operational efficiency and long-term value creation. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop commercial models and insights to evaluate future route-to-market opportunities, customer collaboration initiatives and One Delivery strategies. 
  • Analyse channel value, customer experience and cost-to-serve impacts to support strategic decision-making. 
  • Identify commercial opportunities, risks, trade-offs and value drivers across customers, channels and the broader supply chain network. 
  • Support negotiations and business decisions through robust data analysis, modelling and commercial recommendations. 
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Procurement and Operations teams to develop commercially sound and operationally practical solutions. 
  • Build business cases and translate strategic recommendations into executable commercial plans with clear financial, customer and operational outcomes.
  • Provide insights that support long-term growth, value creation and customer-focused route-to-market decisions. 

 

About You

You're a commercially minded professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges through data, analysis and collaboration. You can confidently connect commercial outcomes with operational realities and are comfortable influencing stakeholders across multiple functions.
 
You'll bring:
  • Experience in commercial analysis, route-to-market strategy, supply chain, finance, sales operations or customer strategy within a complex business environment. 
  • Strong commercial and financial modelling capability, including analysing customer value, channel performance and cost-to-serve impacts. 
  • Experience supporting strategic decision-making, commercial planning, business cases or negotiations. 
  • The ability to translate complex data and insights into clear recommendations and practical action plans. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. 
  • Advanced Excel, analytical and problem-solving capability with a passion for using data to drive better business outcomes. 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, Data Analytics or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
