Your Impact
Key Responsibilities
Lead Production Performance
- Deliver the production plan safely, efficiently and to schedule
- Monitor line performance, efficiencies and downtime to identify improvement opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Ensure appropriate resourcing is in place to meet operational requirements
Champion Quality & Compliance
- Maintain high product quality standards across packaging operations
- Lead investigations into customer and consumer quality concerns
- Support and manage compliance activities including GMP, HACCP and ISO requirements
- Work closely with quality and supply stakeholders to ensure continuity of materials and finished product quality
Drive Operational Excellence
- Manage labour utilisation and support delivery of operational budgets
- Monitor production variances and implement corrective actions where required
- Partner with Maintenance and Reliability teams to improve asset performance and line stability
- Support initiatives that improve manufacturing efficiency and capability
People Leadership
- Lead, coach and develop a team of frontline employees
- Build an engaged, accountable and high-performing team culture
- Support performance, development and succession planning processes
- Lead change initiatives and help teams adapt to new ways of working
Safety & Sustainability
- Foster a strong safety-first culture where everyone goes home safely
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
- Promote continuous improvement in workplace safety, food safety and environmental performance
- Encourage proactive identification and management of risks and hazards
About You
- Experience leading teams within a manufacturing, production or supply chain environment
- A track record of achieving operational results through engaged and motivated teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
- Experience working with quality and compliance frameworks such as GMP, HACCP or ISO standards
- The ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across operations and support functions
- Experience using SAP, Microsoft Office and other operational systems
- Well-developed communication, coaching and change leadership skills
- Qualifications in Engineering, Food Technology, Science, Management or a related discipline will be highly regarded
