Join our iconic Abbotsford site as a Maintenance Planner and play an important role in keeping our maintenance activity organised, efficient and ready to execute.

You’ll take ownership of weekly maintenance planning and scheduling, using SAP to coordinate work orders, labour, materials and contractor requirements. Working closely with our trades and maintenance teams, you’ll help ensure the right work is planned at the right time to support plant reliability and performance.

You may already be an experienced Maintenance Planner, come from a trade background with strong systems capability, or be an early-career engineer looking to develop your career in this space.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate weekly planned maintenance schedules and work packages
• Manage maintenance work orders, notifications and planning information within SAP
• Scope upcoming work and coordinate labour, materials, services, permits and equipment access
• Work closely with trades, maintenance stakeholders and contractors to ensure planned work is ready to execute
• Maintain accurate maintenance and asset information, including preventative maintenance plans, task lists and bills of materials
• Review completed work and maintenance data to continuously improve future planning and scheduling

About You

You’re organised, process-focused and comfortable working across detailed maintenance plans and systems. You enjoy making sure the pieces are in place before work begins and can build effective working relationships across operational and technical teams.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Previous planning, maintenance planning or related technical experience
• Experience navigating SAP or another computerised maintenance management system, with SAP highly regarded
• Strong computer literacy and confidence working with systems and processes
• An engineering or trade background would be beneficial, particularly mechanical
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing or another maintenance-intensive environment would be advantageous
• Strong organisation, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
