An exciting opportunity has become available for a Packaging Line Business Manager to join our Yatala Brewery on a permanent, full-time basis. As a key member of the site leadership team, you’ll lead the Packaging area, taking ownership of people, performance, and production outcomes across a critical part of our operation.

You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering the production plan while building a high-performance culture centred on safety, quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a leader looking to further develop their capability in a broad operational leadership position within our Supply Chain function.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly production targets aligned to QDCSM (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Safety, Morale) expectations
• Assess manufacturing process capability and identify line constraints to optimise throughput and improve profitability
• Develop, own, and execute the Packaging area Continuous Improvement plan to lift performance and operational maturity
• Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders and Operators, fostering engagement, accountability, and ownership
• Ensure compliance with EHS, Quality, and Legal requirements, including HACCP, ISO9001, GMP, and site safety standards
• Drive the implementation and embedding of the Asahi Way and key change initiatives across the Packaging function

About You

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Proven ability to manage production plans and compliance requirements in a complex operational setting
• Strong working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO, and safety management systems
• Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and leading change at the frontline
• A confident and collaborative communicator with strong people-leadership skills
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office is advantageous, with the ability to use data to drive decisions
