Your Impact
You will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely Group consolidation and reporting to Asahi Group Holdings (AGH), while acting as the subject matter expert for lease accounting and fixed assets. Using your strong technical accounting expertise, you will support financial governance, audit readiness and control compliance across the Group. You will work closely with Group finance and cross‑functional stakeholders, provide trusted guidance on complex accounting matters, and drive continuous improvement across month‑end, reporting and asset‑related processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy and consistency.
18-month fixed term contract role
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly Group consolidation, including preparation of journals, schedules and AGH submissions
- Prepare quarterly P&L and Balance Sheet commentary for the Audit & Risk Committee
- Assist with year‑end Group financial statements for Oceania
- Own lease accounting activities, including IFRS 16 journals and lease management tool
- Coordinate annual fixed asset verification and depreciation reviews
- Support balance sheet reconciliations, JSOX compliance and governance reviews
- Partner with auditors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical accounting matters
About You
- CA or CPA qualified with strong technical accounting expertise
- Proven experience in consolidation, reporting and governance within complex organisations
- Background in FMCG, multinational environments or chartered accounting firms preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls and financial governance
- Experience with ERP and consolidation systems (e.g. SAP, HFM)
- Highly analytical with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
- Proactive, collaborative and focused on continuous process improvement
