Your Impact
As a trusted Finance leader, you will partner closely with the Head of Finance - Commercial Operations, Head of Finance - Retail and Senior Finance Managers to deliver high-quality financial insights across our Retail Liquor and On-Premise channels.
You will lead a high-performing operations team, enabling strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and actionable insights that drive commercial performance. Through your leadership, you will support Finance Business Partners to make informed decisions, optimise profitability, and deliver against both short-term and long-term growth ambitions aligned to Asahi’s strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of finance managers, overseeing month-end close, management reporting, forecast and the delivery of annual budgets Provide robust financial analysis and insights to Retail Liquor and On-Premise finance business partnering team, supporting decision-making through insights, and performance optimisation

Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial and management reports, identifying trends and delivering actionable insights

Drive standardisation, optimisation, and continuous improvement of financial processes to enhance efficiency and ensure alignment with best practice

Ensure strong governance and compliance across financial processes, including external/internal audit and JSOX requirements

Integrate management and financial reporting processes, including balance sheet oversight, and claims AR management

Deliver high-quality commercial operations support through specialised analysis and ad hoc requests, enabling Finance Business Partners to act as strategic advisors

Lead and contribute to key finance and business projects aligned with evolving business priorities
About You

Degree qualification in Finance, Accounting or related discipline; CA/CPA preferred

Proven experience in senior finance roles within complex, fast-paced environments

Deep understanding of financial processes including month-end, budgeting, forecasting, IBP, and performance management

Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams

Strong track record in driving process improvements and standardisation across finance functions

Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the business

Ability to synthesise complex information from multiple sources and provide clear, well-reasoned recommendations

Collaborative and commercially minded finance leader with a passion for building high-performing teams and delivering impactful insights.

Strong technical capability, coupled with the ability to influence and partner effectively with senior stakeholders.
