Hospitality Operations Manager 12-month Contract

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead three key venues within the 4 Pines hospitality portfolio: 4 Pines Manly, 4 Pines Truck Bar and 4 Pines Torquay.

 

You’ll work closely with Venue Managers to build high-performing teams, strengthen commercial performance and deliver memorable experiences that turn guests into long-term brand advocates. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can balance people, performance and operational discipline while bringing energy, fresh thinking and a genuine passion for hospitality.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Venue Managers, building a fun, inclusive and high-performing culture.
  • Set clear expectations and drive accountability across the portfolio.
  • Deliver sustainable revenue growth, profitability and strong commercial performance.
  • Support venues to execute annual plans and key business priorities.
  • Create activations and new revenue opportunities that increase visitation, spend and engagement.
  • Uphold 4 Pines brand standards across all venues, ensuring the customer experience, presentation and operations consistently reflect the brand.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, People & Culture and other key stakeholders.
  • Improve operational efficiency through consistent systems, technology and smarter ways of working.
  • Maintain high standards across safety, compliance, and licensing. 
  • Challenge existing ways of working and encourage continuous improvement.

About You

  • An experienced hospitality operator with a strong track record of leading Venue Managers and management teams.
  • A hands-on and visible leader who enjoys coaching people and building capability.
  • Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets, revenue, labour, costs and overall business performance.
  • Passionate about hospitality, brand experiences, and outstanding customer service.
  • A strong communicator and natural connector who can build trusted relationships across a broad stakeholder group.
  • Experienced in liquor licensing, food safety and operational compliance.
  • Able and willing to travel interstate regularly
